The other night I had a dream in which I was reading from a book, which I read from every here and there, in dream state. I had to read the passage repeatedly because the words weren’t in order and they didn’t make any sense—at first. I actually had to keep reading them until they became clear, and this is what it said:
“Be an example and you will reflect what you want to see.”
I thought this was very close to another dream I had recently in which God said, “Do unto others what you would have them do unto you.” This verse most people are familiar with. It pretty much speaks for itself. But when you get the same, or similar, message again and through another form, you must take heed. God is reaching out to you. It doesn’t matter whether you receive messages through the Holy Spirit, Jesus the Christed, the “voice” (God by telepathic means), written, or by any other means. The point is to KNOW when God is requiring your specific attention.
I couldn’t call it. I simply felt like who was I to be an example to? I don’t have any friends these days—at least not any who are traveling the same path as me; if so, I have not been made aware by any of them. As a matter of fact, I had dreamed also last week that I said my goodbyes’ to a couple of childhood friends whom we helped each other through a rough patch in our adults lives. So I really do consider myself alone on this path less taken—the path to find my way back to God. It’s ironic because people aren’t sick of hearing about the latest drama from celeb lives, but I feel like they’re tired of hearing of my joys of being in God’s grace. I’m often feeling tested or “teased”. How do I know? O! The woes of empathic abilities (honestly I don’t want to divert from the purpose of this writing. Feel free to google “What is an Empath?”).
SO like I was saying, WHO exactly am I to be a reflective example to? I thought about this for the last three days now. And for the last three days I’ve had this migraine and neck pain. Yep, it’s weighing heavy on me, a burden so to speak. It’s my purpose to get “rid of it” through God’s will. Let me draw a picture for you of how GOD works. You’re expected to hold up your end and do what you agreed to do.
Ok, so like I said I’ve had this migraine for three days now and quite frankly I’ve been feeling crappy. The raining off and on throughout today doesn’t help after near 80 degrees yesterday and rain the day before that. Wednesday I slept because I couldn’t stand the pain (nope, no drugs for me of any kind). Thursday I snapped at everything in motion outside in the world. All I was missing was fangs and spittle flying everywhere—ill, gross. I felt completely detached from my higher Self—though I must admit, cut off was more like it. I couldn’t see the good in anything throughout my work hours and I had no focus or interest to write. Yet, right there in the edge of my mind I kept hearing, “Is being that way how you want people to be?” I even snapped at mySelf,” Shut up and let me be.” My headache got worst. It was almost like the spirit was saying, “Very well then, your choice.”, and turned up some imaginary crank in the base of my neck. (I get it now; don’t deliberately get lost, stay on task, or cause your own unnecessary suffrage.)
I felt like I could not find my Light! I wanted to literally growl at people! What the hell?! Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, “What the hell got in to you?!” Again, the woes of an Empath. It’d be best if you google it now, if you haven’t already. (http://www.empathguide.com/ ß my personal recommendation) you’ll understand better. I didn’t want to be bothered and I had symptoms of a false cold. I thought about why God was making me suffer by turning off my light. (At least I thought he DID!) I was writing all these little statements throughout yesterday, and chastising politicians’ loose-lipped opinions, I was pointing out people who were obviously being fake friends and selfish lovers. I stared at gossiping women like they were aliens bent on destroying peoples’ (their co-workers in particular) characters. I could SMELL the stench radiating out of peoples bodies! I wanted to disappear from here, from all the chronic evilness in this world. I wanted to go home—where GOD is.
I sat at my laptop quiet for what seemed like a long time and really tried to figure out why I was seeing all of this madness. I could SEE the TRUTH in the world! You know what? I realized that I had lived in the world and within its illusion, and when I gave my heart to Christ, I had seen GOD’s glory, and now here I was in the world still, but seeing the wretched truth of a peoples use of “free-will” and choices. “You cannot see to warn anybody that the house is falling if you’re in it.” I kept writing that statment yesterday, on message boards, comment forums, and my social network pages. Apparently, the message was for ME more than anyone else. It still relates back to BEing what I want from others. This theme seems to have played out over the course of this month, September. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
It’s a warning from God and a blessing at the same time.
Our days left in this year 2012, are short. Many people are going stark “free-willy” or “YOLO” (You only live once) type Beings. Any and everything is going on within the church, within the state, and among a people. All because they believe it will be the end of the world—when in fact it will not be. It is the phasing out of this old age of Pisces (age of illusion) and the phase in of a new age—the age of the Aquarian. Some of us in-the-know call it the Golden age or the age of Peace and Love. The veil of illusion will fall and we will all be naked before God. There is a great energetic shift happening to Earth, and to all Beings (that’s humans, animals, and plants), and to the universe itself. All who cannot sustain this “new” truth energy or reject it to stay in the way of illusion will move into a different timeline than all others (—whether that is through death, another planet or a “false” Earth, I can’t say for surety at present). In other words, Christ is coming to separate the wheat from the chaff.
It’s a blessing to be of service to God. It’s a blessing that because we chose to seek out our almighty father, through Christ, that we now work in human relations with God. Yes, right here on Earth. Of course we don’t know the exact moment Jesus the Christed is coming with the lord’s armies, but many of us did receive messages to “Prepare” (our hearts) and many of us also received messages that “It’s time”. A date in specific? That isn’t for us to focus on, what we ARE to focus on is Being Christ-like and reflecting love and kindness to our brethren and “spark the light in their hearts”.
God didn’t leave me, nor did I “lose” my Light. I simply had stumbled in my footing and picked up some nasty energy and got caught up in its strength. The spirit was warning me and giving me the signals to refocus; hence, “You cannot see to warn anybody that the house is falling if you’re in it.” Thank you Jesus. Once we’ve been blessed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, it never leaves us, not even on a crappy day. Because we work almost constantly transforming negative energies to positive energies, we must remember that can we can trust the Spirit to help nurse us back to optimum health. Those are the moments when we just may need some rest and time alone, with God. He’s always available. We just have to remember to call out—or call in. Amen. I feel like crying, because I get it, and I’m sorry for giving anybody a hard time yesterday, or any day before that. I chose to be here…so I must BE an example to EVERYONE, and reflect what I want to see…what I am in heart. What do I want to see? I want to see peace and love and harmony everywhere I go. It gets a little tough sometimes because we are still in a state of duality of Beings; dark has a cunning way of reflecting itself as Light. In wanting to love everybody, we could build more strength in our discernment.
Here’s how God got ahold of me directly; heading home yesterday evening on the train. The train was crowded, and no seats and I grumbled along with other standing people. After a few stops and the train had cleared out some, I happen to look up and read some of the posted advertisements. My eye caught the word “blessings”, and here’s the advertisement I read:
“Put yourself in place for God’s blessings. I declare God’s incredible blessing’s over my life. I declare I will experience God’s faithfulness. I declare I have the grace I need for today.”
It was a promotion for a book, but had no less of an effect on my spirit. I felt like a child who had gotten out of hand. I felt sorry and vowed (in my head) to come in here and do my work today without distraction. Here is God’s message to you (and my learned lesson) for today. God is ever-loving and continues to give his children notice, to bring them into awareness of their lowly behaviors; giving them an opportunity to change and bring their hearts and attention back unto him. God never gives us more than we can bear. Amen. Be blessed.
Acts 20:35 I have showed you all things, how that so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to recieve.
20:28-38 If the Holy Ghost has made ministers overseers of the flock, that is, shepherds, they must be true to their trust. Let them consider their Master’s concern for the flock committed to their charge. It is the church He has purchased with his own blood. The blood was his as Man; yet so close is the union between the Divine and human nature, that it is there called the blood of God, for it was the blood of Him who is God. This put such dignity and worth into it, as to ransom believers from all evil, and purchase all good. Paul spake about their souls with affection and concern. They were full of care what would become of them. Paul directs them to look up to God with faith, and commends them to the word of God’s grace, not only as the foundation of their hope and the fountain of their joy, but as the rule of their walking. The most advanced Christians are capable of growing, and will find the word of grace help their growth. As those cannot be welcome guests to the holy God who are unsanctified; so heaven would be no heaven to them; but to all who are born again, and on whom the image of God is renewed, it is sure, as almighty power and eternal truth make it so. He recommends himself to them as an example of not caring as to things of the present world; this they would find help forward their comfortable passage through it. It might seem a hard saying, therefore Paul adds to it a saying of their Master’s, which he would have them always remember; It is more blessed to give than to receive: it seems they were words often used to his disciples. The opinion of the children of this world, is contrary to this; they are afraid of giving, unless in hope of getting. Clear gain, is with them the most blessed thing that can be; but Christ tell us what is more blessed, more excellent. It makes us more like to God, who gives to all, and receives from none; and to the Lord Jesus, who went about doing good. This mind was in Christ Jesus, may it be in us also. It is good for friends, when they part, to part with prayer. Those who exhort and pray for one another, may have many weeping seasons and painful separations, but they will meet before the throne of God, to part no more. It was a comfort to all, that the presence of Christ both went with him and stayed with them.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
14:25-27 Would we know these things for our good, we must pray for, and depend on the teaching of the Holy Ghost; thus the words of Jesus will be brought to our remembrance, and many difficulties be cleared up which are not plain to others. To all the saints, the Spirit of grace is given to be a remembrance, and to him, by faith and prayer, we should commit the keeping of what we hear and know. Peace is put for all good, and Christ has left us all that is really and truly good, all the promised good; peace of mind from our justification before God. This Christ calls his peace, for he is himself our Peace. The peace of God widely differs from that of Pharisees or hypocrites, as is shown by its humbling and holy effects.
Galatians 3:5 He therefore that ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, does he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
3:1-5 Several things made the folly of the Galatian Christians worse. They had the doctrine of the cross preached, and the Lord’s supper administered among them, in both which Christ crucified, and the nature of his sufferings, had been fully and clearly set forth. Had they been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, by the ministration of the law, or on account of any works done by them in obedience thereto? Was it not by their hearing and embracing the doctrine of faith in Christ alone for justification? Which of these had God owned with tokens of his favour and acceptance? It was not by the first, but the last. And those must be very unwise, who suffer themselves to be turned away from the ministry and doctrine which have been blessed to their spiritual advantage. Alas, that men should turn from the all-important doctrine of Christ crucified, to listen to useless distinctions, mere moral preaching, or wild fancies! The god of this world, by various men and means, has blinded men’s eyes, lest they should learn to trust in a crucified Saviour. We may boldly demand where the fruits of the Holy Spirit are most evidently brought forth? Whether among those who preach justification by the works of the law, or those who preach the doctrine of faith? Assuredly, among the latter.
Proverbs 24:3-4 A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables.
Isaiah 51:1-53:12, 54:1-57:14
Esphesians 1:1-23 to 6:1-24
Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary
3:7-12 To make application to the souls of the hearers, is the life of preaching; so it was of John’s preaching. The Pharisees laid their chief stress on outward observances, neglecting the weightier matters of the moral law, and the spiritual meaning of their legal ceremonies. Others of them were detestable hypocrites, making their pretenses to holiness a cloak for iniquity. The Sadducees ran into the opposite extreme, denying the existence of spirits, and a future state. They were the scornful infidels of that time and country. There is a wrath to come. It is the great concern of every one to flee from that wrath. God, who delights not in our ruin, has warned us; he warns by the written word, by ministers, by conscience. And those are not worthy of the name of penitents, or their privileges, who say they are sorry for their sins, yet persist in them. It becomes penitents to be humble and low in their own eyes, to be thankful for the least mercy, patient under the greatest affliction, to be watchful against all appearances of sin, to abound in every duty, and to be charitable in judging others. Here is a word of caution, not to trust in outward privileges. There is a great deal which carnal hearts are apt to say within themselves, to put aside the convincing, commanding power of the word of God. Multitudes, by resting in the honours and mere advantages of their being members of an outward church, come short of heaven. Here is a word of terror to the careless and secure. Our corrupt hearts cannot be made to produce good fruit, unless the regenerating Spirit of Christ grafts the good word of God upon them. And every tree, however high in gifts and honours, however green in outward professions and performances, if it brings not forth good fruit, the fruits meet for repentance, is hewn down and cast into the fire of God’s wrath, the fittest place for barren trees: what else are they good for? If not fit for fruit, they are fit for fuel. John shows the design and intention of Christ’s appearing, which they were now speedily to expect. No outward forms can make us clean. No ordinances, by whosoever administered, or after whatever mode, can supply the want of the baptism of the Holy Ghost and of fire. The purifying and cleansing power of the Holy Spirit alone can produce that purity of heart, and those holy affections, which accompany salvation. It is Christ who baptizes with the Holy Ghost. This he did in the extraordinary gifts of the Spirit sent upon the apostles, Ac 2:4. This he does in the graces and comforts of the Spirit, given to those that ask him, Lu 11:13; John 7:38, 39; see Ac 11:16. Observe here, the outward church is Christ’s floor, Isa 21:10. True believers are as wheat, substantial, useful, and valuable; hypocrites are as chaff, light and empty, useless and worthless, carried about with every wind; these are mixed, good and bad, in the same outward communion. There is a day coming when the wheat and chaff shall be separated. The last judgment will be the distinguishing day, when saints and sinners shall be parted forever. In heaven the saints are brought together, and no longer scattered; they are safe, and no longer exposed; separated from corrupt neighbours without, and corrupt affections within, and there is no chaff among them. Hell is the unquenchable fire, which will certainly be the portion and punishment of hypocrites and unbelievers. Here, life and death, good and evil, are set before us: according as we now are in the field, we shall be then in the floor. Bless
In Jesus name,
